And I did. Typing now one-handed because I think I cracked a rib.
Headed out for Trivia nite when the roads were still traffic-y. Needed to make a Left, so I went to tuck in behind a passing pickup truck's tailgate but didn't notice he was pulling a low-boy landscaper's trailer. Imagine my surprise when I 'merged' into it, bounced off it and went down. Picked myself and the bike up, got onto the sidewalk and walked the two blocks home with scrapes and side pain, a scratched watch and a cracked helmet, but feeling lucky that I was able to walk.
The bike is fine tho, don't worry - my 'new' green 1975 Raleigh Super Course Mk II.
